with our beloved Alma Mater, Saint Augustine’s College, to make the dream of
higher educational opportunities a reality for young people from our area
and across the country.
We are
excited about the upcoming opportunities to work with you, the Saint Augustine's
College administration and students to make this year even more productive
than previous years. As you read on you'll find information about the
various activities that will take plan during the rest of the year.
Currently we are preparing for
the 2011 William Jefferson Jackson Honors Award Banquet to be held
on Friday October 28, 2011 at the La Fountaine Bleu, Lanham Maryland.
The William Jefferson Jackson
Honors Award recognizes Saint Augustine's College alumni for their
contributions to our alma mater, their local chapter, the community and for
their personal and professional achievements; The 2011 award recipients are: Dr. Charles Mosee (Posthumously) (1951) -
Washington, DC
Coach George D. (Pup) Williams (1965) - Raleigh, NC
Mr. Donald H. Christian (1965) - Bowie, MD
The Honorable Beverly A. Scarlett (1983) - Durham, NC

celebration. Banquet tickets are now available. Donation is $60 and funds

Every year in June we host our Annual Saint Augustine's College Family
Reunion and Cookout, at Rock Creek Park in Washington, DC in Grove #6. The
entire Saint Aug Family is invited, alumni, students, faculty and staff and
of course our family and friends. It's a day of good food, fun, and
activities for all ages. The 2011 cookout was a beautiful day that we will
long remember.
Each December we host a holiday
social. Check back often to get the date, which will be available.
